This preschool lesson plan will help you teach children in daycare about the colors blue and red. The activities below will introduce children to the red and blue through a science activity, a dramatic play activity, a cooking and snack activity, a circle time activity, a music and movement activity and books. For each activity you will find the materials, instructions and discussion starters (verbal cues). This lesson plan works well in conjunction with kindergarten readiness lesson plans in your daycare center .
