Marketing your daycare business is a full-time year-round task. Besides advertising your daycare business with flyers, business cards, open houses, and online ads, there is another smart option: Start a new client incentives program.

Offering incentives for enrolling as well as incentives when a client refers a family to your child care business is a great marketing tool that may help increase enrollment. Here are a few examples of incentives that may attract clients to your daycare business over and entice a client to enroll their child in your program instead of another daycare:

Offer a 10% discount when enrolling a second child

Offer 5% discount for 3 months on referrals

Provide one free week of child care for clients who refer a family and a child enrolls

Offer financial rewards if a client refers a family and a child enrolls

Offer three days free to a new client while they evaluate your child care service

Present Free parent’s night out once a month for enrolled children

Offer $100.00 off for the first week

Provide five free hours of child care on a day that the child is not usually enrolled

Offer a lower promotional rate as an incentive for the first 2 months and then return to standard rates

Offer free child care one weekend or a few evenings during the holiday season

Provide gift bags for parents when they enroll their children which may include candles, stationary, etc.

Provide welcome bags for new children which may include developmentally appropriate coloring books, crayons, and educational materials

The incentives you offer depend on your enrollment needs and your budget. For example, if the budget is tight, monetary rewards or discounts on tuition may not be the best option. Instead choose non-financial rewards such as those that involve your time, i.e., free parent’s night out or holiday or weekend care. Be sure to create flyers announcing and detailing your incentives program and hand them out to clients. Also, post the flyers areas you would normal post your daycare business flyers (community bulletin boards, hospitals, schools, etc.).

Although this is not usually the case, some clients or new enrollees may take advantage of the referral incentives. Make it clear that families referring full-time child care children will receive an incentive credit after the new family has completed three months. Be sure to create a referral incentive program form that details the rules of the program and must be submitted and signed.

Creating and dealing out flyers is a simple and reasonably priced way to promote your in-home daycare commerce and build enrolment.

Keep these 10 instructions in mind while preparation the open of your next flyer movement:

1.) Benefits – Use projectile points to emphasize key reimbursement of your program. Don’t just dilapidate the usual laundry catalogue of “We offer meals, warm & loving surroundings, etc”. So do mainly providers. What makes your program dissimilar? Gluten free menu alternatives, 24 hour care, foreign verbal message? Once you find IT, guide with it.

2.) Call-to-Action – Tell your forecast exactly what you desire them to perform once they’ve interpreted your flyer? Call, stay website, email? Use Deadlines & limits to encourage punctual responses. You want them to do something NOW, not afterwards.

3.) Color Options – You desire your flyers to get notice. Studies demonstrate that colored paper tend to out do standard white paper, so why not employ that to your benefit & go for a little that’s bright, amusing, & happy?

4.) Distribution – Distribute in “under attack areas” where parents with youthful children will watch them such as: Toys-R-Us, Baby Depot, Chuck-E-Cheeses, Elementary Schools, Libraries, etc. Watch out for minivans as well as vehicles with car seats. If you’re distributing door-to-door, aim for homes with toys & play kit in the yard.

5.) Headline - Instead of just using your commerce name, try a little different like a client memorial or asking your view a question to imprison their notice.

6.) Referrals – Encourage referral by asking that persons “not at present in need of child care military, please go by along to somebody who is.”

7.) Safety First – Do not list your street address, try a little like… serving “your city” and close areas.

8.) Stash Some Extras – Keep a hide of extra flyers in your bus (seat pocket, trunk, or under seat) along with a box of thumb tacks or push pins and tape. I discover that those delightful petite synthetic accordion folders work well for this task.

9.) Testimonials - Adding a testimonial to your flyer can be very effectual and go a long way towards structure credibility. You can too use them as headlines for your flyers.

10.) Town Ordinances - Get proverbial with local laws prior to distributing your flyers. Check to make sure there are no city ordinances next to posting flyers in sure areas, passing them out on the road, or door-to-door. Also get consent before distribute in parking lots.

Whether you make a decision to plan and print a little batch right from your house computer or just print one and make extra copies at your restricted office furnish or copy spot, flyers are an easy and simple way to create visibility for your in-home daycare trade.

Starting a daycare business is a very intelligent move. People need extra income to meet the spiraling cost of commodities and utilities. Parents on the other hand need to work full-time, sometimes with extra job on the side, for the same economic reason. By taking advantage of the needs of parents to find a responsible and quality care for their children while they are away in the jobs, your daycare center is guaranteed of income.

For your daycare business to really grow and turn in a modest income, you need to have a substantial number of clients. In order to attract clients, it is necessary that you have to advertise your business. You need not go too far advertising your daycare center as parents will outright reject the idea of putting their children to a far away daycare center. It will cost them precious time and gas to bring their children to a distant daycare center so their first option is one that is just around the area. You should then focus your advertising efforts to an area that is reasonably close to your daycare center. Anything farther will be a waste of your time, money, and efforts.

A very effective form of advertising is creating flyers to advertise your daycare business. Your flyer should give out the name of your daycare center, your name, your address and phone number, and most importantly, your license or accreditation number. You may also include your qualifications and trainings in the area of child care. Having all these in a flyer will make a very impressive advertisement for your daycare center.

You need not spend a ton of money for your flyers. You can create the flyers yourself using your home computer and printer. Show your artistic talent in designing an eye-catching flyer because a dull and flat flyer will simply end up in the trash cans. Then put all the important details and information in the flyer if you are out to get additional clients for your business.

Distribute and put your flyers in areas where your potential clients can see them. The local groceries and stores are good places to put your flyers as parents often visit these establishments. Have your flyers in the notice boards by the entrance of these establishments.

You can put flyers in gyms and in areas close to schools. Parents go to the gyms, they drop off their children to schools so there is a great chance that they will see your flyers.

You can request permission from local churches, museums, and other public places to allow you to put up some flyers in their bulletin boards. They will definitely be seen by people who frequent those places.

The best way to distribute your flyers will be to go around the neighborhood and drop flyers in the mailboxes of houses in your area. It will also a good idea of you can personally deliver your flyer to parents in the neighborhood who have children that need daycare. You may have that important chance of speaking to them personally and discuss what you can offer in your daycare center business.

One of the most powerful tools that has to do with marketing your day care business is building your brand and giving your business are really good and attractive business name.

The task of thinking and choosing the best and most attractive name for your daycare business is very important and should therefore be given a great deal of thought and consideration. You have to make sure that the name of the business that you will choose should fit the services you are to offer as well as the actual message you want to get across to your potential clients.

Here are a few guidelines that will help you choose the right name for your Daycare business.

What are the actual thoughts and feelings you want your day care business to convey? Do you want it to be more attractive to children by making it a little cutesy or more attractive to adults by giving your business a more matured branding?

Some people want their names to appear in the name of their business so that is what they simply do. They include their names in the actual name of their business like Mariol’s Daycare Business. This type of branding could be considered straightforward and direct however it does not actually attract potential clients. If I were the client I would simply ask myself “Why should I entrust my child/ren to Mariol? Who is she anyway?”

Regional (Chesapeake Child Care)

It is also relatively important that the name of your daycare business is creative but understandable. Make sure that it will clearly reflect the business that you are to offer but consummate it in an attractive and direct slogan.

It is important that you give a lot of thought and consideration when it comes to choosing the right business name for your daycare business so that you will be able to stick with it for the rest of your business’ years. It is not advisable that you would have to change the name of your business after several years because your clients might get confused and might no longer trust the kind of services you offer.

Avoid hard to spell and equally hard to pronounce names. You wouldn’t want your potential clients messing up the name of your business, right?

Check for availability to avoid any potential legal conflicts. Imagine investing your time and money into marketing materials, only to receive a cease-and-desist letter in your mailbox.

When you need just the right word, the Thesaurus is the ideal guide for a quick study in the synonym department.

Get down to brainstorming. – Come up with a master list of names and take it from there.

Register your domain name. – If you plan on having a website now’s a good time to snap-up your domain before someone else does.

Limit the number of decision makers. – Decide who will have input in the naming process. Use the tips and ideas above to come up with a name that will be just the right fit for you. Don’t rush yourself into coming up with a name too quickly, the time you invest in choosing a name for your daycare business is time well spent.

As a woman, it is so important to be financially independent and able to earn extra income. One way to reach this ideal is starting a day care business. Owning and operating a day care facility is not only enriching but also financially rewarding.

One needs clients to make a run at day care management. And how can one reach out to these prospective clients? It is through advertising that one is able to reach a wider expanse of clients for the services offered. The main drawbacks to operating a day care business are that parents want to have facility near their homes to lessen the travel time between day care facility, workplace and home. Since most clients would be nearby neighbors, then it would be easy to reach out tot hem, even door to door to advertise one’s business.

Flyers would be the first step in a day care facility’s advertising campaign. Important information is needed in the flyer, such as the facility’s name, address, operator’s name and phone number. Making them in different noticeable colors also helps send the message across. Having many flyers would help saturate the area for one’s business. Being timid about the rewards of one’s expertise and abilities is not needed as one needs to promote the business for it to operate and earn. Without any of thee, one would be similarly situated to a person trapped on a deserted island. But do take note of the costs of the flyers as it is a cost that one would recoup in the future and not immediately

The next issue to be addressed would be where does one give out these flyers? Finding an area with many parents milling about would be a good place to start. There would be bulletin boards in church or recreation areas, in supermarkets and malls, and even in school buses. As parents do the shopping, they would see your ad and get the flyer. Afterwards expect a call from these parents inquiring about the services. Making these flyers visible and accessible also makes the day care facility visible and accessible. Other places to take these flyers are gyms and in churches, but do remain in the parking lot so as not to disturb the service. Other places one can distribute these flyers are near restaurants for children or in ballparks. Since the parents go to these venues, it would be certain that they would be seen there.

With the flyer method, one can advertise the day care facility in locations where people go to and spend time in. When they see the flyer, they will take notice of the information of they need it, or know of someone who may benefit from the service. Once these calls are made then one can convince them to enroll their child in the facility and thus make a profit for one. But do note that one should not litter and before putting up flyers or giving them out, one seeks permission so that there would be no issue later on.
