The plan for National Hispanic Heritage Month is an acknowledgement of the additional than 44.3 million Americans of Hispanic source, representing more than 15% of our inhabitants. The 31 day surveillance period honours the Independence Day for many Latin American countries counting El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Honduras which celebrate September 15 as their Independence Day. September 16th is Independence Day for Mexico, then September 18th for Chile, September 21st for Belize in addition to El Dia de la Raza (Columbus Day) which is on October 12th.

Do the writers cover sufficient information in such a short amount of space? There are often lots of other items left off the list and a novel parent needs to know what to anticipate.
