Sending your child to a day care is not only hard for your child but also for you. There are so many things which you have to consider as you pick a day care for your child. But no matter which day care you choose, you need to make sure that you hire a childcare center that will provide your child with what he need and not what he wants. Each and every day care has its own policies and regulations, so it is best that you look into each to determine which will work best for your child’ development.

You can always your friends for reputable day care centers out there. If you have friends who are sending their child in a day care, you need to ask them for certain centers that give a satisfactory job for childcare. This is so much better than relying on advertisements online, because at least, you will be able to get information about the day care centers first hand. You can discuss things, your concerns as well as the pros and the cons of having your child sent in a day care center.

Another source of day care contacts is the Department of Social Services. They have a list of day care centers that they will provide you. These are usually licensed and reputable day care centers for you. If you want a trusted day care, this is a good place where you can get them.

When you have gotten the contact number, you may need to call them up and schedule a meeting. In the meeting, you can ask a bit of questions that will help you evaluate the day care. Get a list of programs and activities that your child will be ask to do. By taking a look at this, you will more or less get the idea of whether these will be very effective for the development of your child. If this is okay with you, then you can now proceed with the enrolment of your child in the day care.

It is very important that you prepare your child with the idea of sending him in a day care center. Do not just bring him there and leave him because this can cause him to undergo separation anxiety and throw tantrums in the day care center. The best thing that you should do is to talk to him and explain why he has to be sent there. Always build a positive image of the day so that it can excite him. Remember that children love it when they are excited about something so make sure to deal with in the best way possible. Allow him to bring a toy or a blanket that he can hold when he feels lonely. This will make it easier for him since children can go crazy when they miss their parents. Make sure that you know how to deal with this so that your child will find it easier to deal with these things and adapt to the environment of a day care center.

Childcare is seen as one of the most important things that parents should not neglect especially when it come to their daily lives. Children do need to be taken care all the time this is why most parent just choose to send their children in a day care center. But before you react, there is a reason behind this. Parents these days do make it a point to prepare for the future of their children. Especially with the way that they economy if going, there is no way that parents can get away with lying around in their homes. This is why they are forced to work and left with no choice but to send their child in a day care.

But of course, as with any decision that you make, you need to be sure that you this is the right one. You may think that your child is ready for a day care center, but the real question should be “Is he?”. Your decisions are often useless if your child does not want to cooperate. This is why you need to know if your child is ready for a day care before deciding on doing so.

The first thing that you have to do is to analyze the way that your child reacts. You need to know if your child is ready to be separated from you. If you leave your child with a family member or a relative, assess if he cries or if it is okay with him. This will more or less give you an idea if you can leave your child in another setting where you are not there. If you think that he is comfortable with the idea, then more or less it is safe to leave him in a day care center without crying so much.

The second thing is to observe if your child is open to communication to other children. When you bring your child in the public park or to an amusement park, observe if your child willingly interacts with the other children. There are some children who so do not actually want to talk or share their things to other children. This is what you should avoid because these can cause trouble to the day care center. But if your child is friendly or is open to the idea of having to talk to other children, then there is no problem for you. He will have an easier time interacting with the other kids in the day care.

Lastly, the way that your child adapts to a new environment is very important. Enrolling your child in a day care means that his daily routine should change. This means that he will be spending most of his days in a day care rather than at home. This is something which your child should get used to. He needs to be able to change with the environment as soon as possible so that he can work effectively in the day care. He needs to be able to cope up with the new environment and the people whom he is dealing with or else, he will never be ready for a day care.

If you think that your child is not yet ready for a day care, there is nothing that should worry you. Your child might still be attached to you, but you need to grown apart. It is time that your child learns how to be independent and it is your responsibility to do so. You can slowly talk to your child and train him to be independent. You need to explain to him why you have to send him in a day care center. Make sure that he understands your point. This will prepare him for the idea or having to face everyday without you by his side. You can choose to leave him to your relatives at first. He needs to have a feel of how it is to go on with his daily life without you around. This will help him adjust to the idea that other people are in charge of taking care of him. This is why it is best to start with relatives because at least he will be comfortable with the people that he will stay with.

One advantage that this brings you is that he will learn how to talk to other people too. He will not be afraid to converse with other people, whether his age or older people. This can be a good start if you want to develop the social skills of your child. You do not have to worry about this because as long as your child is already open to the idea of talking with other people, trust that he will be able to talk with other people in the day care.

Then, after a week or two weeks, you can now gauge if he is adjusting to the change in the environment. You will notice that your child will not have any complaints or so when you send him there. Then this may be the time that you can send your child in a day care.

Remember that you need to brief your child when it comes to sending him to a day care. He needs to know everything there is to expect in a day care. These include the lessons that he will be learning, things that he will do as well as the people whom he will interact with. Do not scare your child, but make the idea more interesting for him.

Although it can still be hard to leave him for the first day, preparing him will make is easier for you. You can expect that your child will not cry as you leave him there. This can really be a lot less stressful for you. Just make sure that you tell him that you will come back for him so that he will not feel scared that you will leave him alone in a day care. With the right preparation, you will surely be able to send your child in a day care center while you work to ensure a bright future for him.

Leaving your child in a day care center is not a choice for most parents anymore. Most parents do not choose to live a busy life, but since the economy has been going nowhere but down, they are often faced with no other option but to work. As a consequence, they are not able to take care of their children. What they do is that they leave their child in a day care center so that they will be ensured that their child is taken care of, even if they cannot be there. You may be wondering what are the pros and the cons of a day care. Let me give you an idea on what to expect should you decide to leave your child in a day care center.

In a day care center, your child is faced with a lot of benefits. He will be able to learn a lot of things from counting, writing, reading, coloring and dealing with other people. Since a day care often has a lot of activities lined up for your child, you will be sure that he will not only get the care that he needs, but also the knowledge that will equip him for the future. With the constant interaction that your child will have with other children, he will be able to develop certain social skills as he plays with them. You do not need to teach your child how to deal with others especially if he is shy. In a day care center, he will be able to deal with it on his own.

The number one thing which parents dread when they leave their children in a day care center is separation anxiety. Since children are not really used to being left alone in an unfamiliar place, they will seek the company of their parent. This will often cause them to cry, throw tantrums and become really restless. This is what causes parents to have a hard time leaving their children. You can deal with this in your own way, depending on what you think is the right way, you can ensure your child that he is secure in the day care and you will come back for him. When this happens, you can also allow him to bring a toy or a blanket that will provide him with the security that he wants. This will make him feel more comfortable in the day care, even if there is a switch of an environment. In no time, he will adjust and notice that he will not need to bring his security items anymore.

It is really beneficial for you to enroll your child in a day care. Do not be afraid even if the time calls you to work. There is not much which you can do since you need to work for your future. The care of your child should not be compromised and the day care centers will ensure you of this. Enroll your child now and see how it can be advantageous for your child’s development.

What is one activity that children love to do? This may seem such a difficult question to answer, but if you just took your time and notice what children love to do, you might find the answer. Children find it enjoyable to read. Maybe because of the curiosity that they have, children are always excited to read and learn new things. At their age, reading gives the children a lot of information added to their knowledge. There are so many lessons that they can learn when they read books. As parents, you may know that if there is one thing that you should invest in when it comes to your child’s learning, these are books.

First Things First
The first thing that you should be able to accomplish is to teach the children how to read. This is the first step in teaching your child the value of reading books. How can they enjoy something which they do not know how to do right? How are you going to start with this? There are a lot of questions that you want to ask when it comes to teaching your child how to start reading, so here is how it is done.

Wordless picture books are a great way to start teaching your child. These books are full of pictures which tell a story without the sentences or words that usually come with these. This is quite effective for pre school children since the pictures create a story as they are viewed in sequential order. Through this, your child will learn that reading is done from left to right with the right way of flipping the pages. This will give them the sense of the right way of reading a book. As you read to them, they will be able to make up their own dialogues as well as story lines as they read each picture. This can encourage them to become readers in the future.

Slowly Build Up
The advantage of having wordless picture books is the way in which you can adjust story telling. Since there are no words that accompany each page, you have the liberty to add or make the stories more complex as you read to your child. You will be able to add certain details as slowly as you can. You can add verb, adjectives, nouns and so on which can add to the vocabulary of your child. The tenses can also be varied as well as well as the tones in the dialogues. This makes your story telling as versatile as you want it to be. You can add more event as well as dialogues each time you read the story to your child. This will expand his imaginations when it comes to reading books.

Let Him Read
Encouraging interaction between you and your child will make reading a more enjoyable and fun activity for your child. You can start reading the first page of the story and ask your child to continue what you have started. This will make you child be more attentive to what you are saying to him. You will be able to enhance the communication skills that you children is developing. One way to make this very effective is by asking him questions along the way, this will make your child pay more attention to the details of the book as well as make his imagination work. If you think that your child is ready, your child can even be the one to make up his own story. He can have his share of reading by asking him to read the story for you. This will give you a chance to evaluate the reading progress of your child.

What should you look for when you evaluate your child? You need to know that good readers follow a certain sequence that is logical. They have a way of organizing their thoughts into events that should happen logically. Besides from this, your child should be able to pay attention to as much details as possible. They are not expected to just notice what id obvious but they need to make sure that each and every detail is not missed as he looks at every picture. They are able to practice their comprehension skills. Through the pictures only, the children are expected to be able to make sense out of them. They should be able to come up with a story which has a unified theme. Part of this includes the elements of the story such as the plot, tone and the characters. By having an idea on these things, your child will have an easier time when it comes to reading various stories in the future.

Basically, wordless picture books prepared the child and equip them for future reading. Even if these books do not have words with them, the children are able to develop their reading skills. They will understand the concept that books have a begin, middle and an end. Their comprehension skills as well as imagination are enhanced as they are reading these books. These are two things which are very important when somebody reads a book because without these things, you will never really understand and enjoy reading a book.

Communication is also one thing which you need to enhance as your child is reading a book. They need to understand the sequences as well as the tenses which they are reading. As of now, as long as they are able to make up something out of the pictures, is already a great improvement for your child.

Do not get into a hurry by buying your children all those complicated books. Sometimes, all you need are the most simple things when you want your child to learn. Start from the basics and you will find it easier to develop more complex reading skills for your child. Teaching your child how to read is not that hard. You just need to know how to teach them in the right way. If you do, see how your child will easily be inclined to read as he grows older.

One of the biggest and most major decisions that a responsible parent will ever have to make is which daycare they will leave their children at. It is best that the daycare provider will take care of your child as close as you have. It is a fact that all daycares can not love and care for your child the way you do, but still there are providers that can provide very good services compared to others.

1.	Keep in mind that when you are deciding which daycare provider is the best for your child you have to ask relevant questions. It is a fact that parents give different levels of importance to various points in child care, but when it comes to choosing a daycare for their children, all parents come together in having some concerns on the same issues. It is good to hear recommendations from other people, but what is important to your friend, may not be that important to you.

2.	One the basic things that you must learn as a parent are the differences between family care centres and group centres. Commercially facilitated daycare centres that have large groups of children are called group centres and enrol at least nine children. Daycare providers that do their services in houses only allow at the most six children.

3.	The best way to check for the requirements to these two types of daycare centres is to get a listing of requirement from the social services office in your state. With this, you can also ask them for a lost of recommended daycare providers. Then there also those daycare providers that are licensed by the state.

What you need to know
Then after all this is done, you have to look into the ratio between adult and child. If the ratio is at the lower end, then that is better for your child because this means more attention will be focused on your child. One of the scenarios that a parent can not ever stand is that of their child not being attended to by a daycare worker because that person has to attend to a lot more children.

Another thing that you must put your concern on is the turnover of the staff. If the ratio of turnover is at a low number, then this is good for your child. This low rate of staff turnover means that the daycare provider has achieved stability.

The next thing that you want to know is the number of years the daycare provider has been in service.

The next thing that you must consider is if you agree in the daycare providers’ policies on children taking naps, giving discipline, breaktime, playing games and the way they teach the children.

Other concerns
There are some important areas that you need to look into. You can simply give these daycare providers’ a call and they will entertain your questions about these areas. These areas should include the background checks on the employees, the providers’ emergency policies and will the provider call the parents in case something happens to the child.

Some parents, especially mothers, often feel a sense of guilt when they have to leave their child in day care centers. Those parents have no choice but to support their family financially so they have to work rigorously out of necessity. As a result, they make the very hard decision to leave their child in day care centers, outside their home, away from them at the time of their work. Because of these inevitable circumstances, many parents, especially mothers, can’t help but to feel guilty for leaving their children in the hands of childcare providers. Here are some approaches parents can follow to avoid feeling guilty:

Always keep in mind that it’s for your own child’s sake. The first thing that you should realize as a parent is that bringing your child/children to daycare is the best decision for you as a working parent and for your baby who needs attention and care. Disregard the old belief that babies should be taken care of only by their mothers until they become toddlers. This maybe true but because of financial needs, you as a parent still have to work and earn income for your family. Thus, do not feel guilty if you have to leave you child to child care providers. Without a doubt, children need attention, love, and care by their parents but babies can still form relationships and attain those emotional needs even with other people who sincerely care for them. As long as the child care giver gives much attention and quality day care for your child, you can be assured that your child will be happy with the company of other children in day care centers where he could learn self-control, language skills and social skills.

Choose day care center wisely. Since you would be putting the care and security of your child in the hands of ‘strangers,’ it is important to choose carefully which day care center you will place your baby into. Make sure that the child care center you selected is highly reputable in giving child care and it has no any record of child abuses. Choosing the right day care center for your child is critical since this is where your child will learn communication skills, social skills through playing with other kids, and basic skills in math and English. Make sure that in day care your child has enjoyable and fun experiences.

Find some balance. You can make up for the time you leave your child in day care through slowing down the process of getting your child ready in the morning. While preparing for your breakfast, try to build much closer relationship with your child through talking to him, telling him short stories, and by just hugging and frequently kissing him while telling him how much you love him. Explain to him why you need to send him in day care and why you need to work. Tell him all the nice things he will learn and experience in day care. If he loves to sing, then sing with him. Also, tell him jokes as you both of you laugh together.

When it’s your time to drop your child off to the day care center, give him something that is special for him, like his comfort food or his favorite stuffed toy. It will not only make your child happy but it will also give him a sense of security while he is in the day care center.

Children are always so enthusiastic to learn. At this stage, their learning abilities are at a maximum this is why parents should take advantage of this. You child is still willing to grasp new ideas and skills that they may find to be useful in the future. It is important that you come up with activities that will be both fun and effective for your child. Children learn best when they are having fun so you need to be as creative as possible. You can incorporate in your daily activities lessons in numbers, reading, writing, drawing, history and even science.

Crafts are one activity that your child may enjoy doing. This enhances the creative mind of your child. It is now up to you how you are going to incorporate lessons in this activity. This is the perfect choice if you want your child to enjoy as well as learn. This can be something which you and your child can enjoy together. Remember that what is important is that your child is learning from these and not to come up with the perfect output.

With so many choices, it may be difficult for you to choose one. It is highly recommended that you have a lesson plan and depending on the lesson for the day, you can now pick up your craft sets in toy stores and teach your children how to learn the fun way!

Puppet shows are one of the most enjoyable learning methods of children. You can teach them how to make their own puppet and play with them afterwards. Choose a theme or storyline from their favourite show and you can play with the puppets and imagine that they are the real thing. This will really allow your child to use their creativity in making puppets. One more thing is that they will learn how to be resourceful. They will learn that they can use sock for puppets and even buttons for eyes. Your child will learn a lot from this activity.

Play dough has been one of the most popular choices for parents. Almost everyone you know have played with this. All you need when playing with clay is your imagination. You can teach children how to make animals, people, shapes and numbers using play dough. The children can work in groups and come up with a whole set of animals or a village. This is an enjoyable activity for your child since they can mold anything that they like, in any color that they want. You can play guessing games by molding a shape and ask your child what you have molded. This will allow your child to discover new things through pay dough.

Cooking is a fun activity that you can teach your child. The easiest way that your child can enjoy cooking is through baking. You can bake your child’s favourite cake, cookies, cupcakes, muffin and almost anything. You can teach your child how to mix the batter and pour them in the pans. But cooking does not stop there. You can buy decorating materials for the cake. You can buy colored icing and flowers made out of sugar which you can use to decorate a cake. You can put different designs on the cake which will make it more enjoyable to eat.

In baking cookies, you can use various shapes on cookie cutters which will be make cookies more fun to eat. You can also make crafts like designing cookie jars where you will out your cookies after baking. You can teach them how to draw simple things on the jars which they will remember everytime they get a cookie.

Playing outdoors have always been one of the things that children enjoy doing. Crafts are usually done indoor which may bore your child. It is important to have some fresh air once in a while. One activity that you can teach your child that can e dine outdoors is gardening. Teach your child how to plant, make flowerpots and even garden bins. At this point, your child may have established a favourite flower, fruit or vegetable. You can buy seeds and team up so that you can plant together, dig the sand, place the seed and cover it with soil. You can teach your child to be responsible by checking up on the plant from time to time and watering them based on the schedule. You can also plant in pots where you can put designs like a face where the hair is the grass that is growing. There are countless of options that you may take when it come to gardening.

Making scrapbooks is one craft that your child will surely enjoy. You can but a blank scrapbook which you can decorate from scratch. Let your child pick pictures which they like or remember to have a good memory with. These are the pictures which you can place in the scrapbook. Your child can practice his writing, coloring and even designing. They can incorporate colors which complement each other and designs with a theme. You can have fun reminiscing these moments with your child.

There are so many crafts from which you can choose from. You just need to be creative in coming up with an activity for you and your child. Make sure that you are able to teach your child the importance of doing the activity so that they will not only enjoy to learn but they will also enjoy the activity.

Children love to learn in a creative way so make sure that whatever you are doing, your child is interested in this. They will be willing to learn if they are enjoying what they are doing. Make sure that you are doing a craft that is age-appropriate that will allow them to learn from these. Remember that crafting is more than just a hobby or a past time, it is something which you can use to teach your child certain skills which they can further develop when they grow up.

Aside from learning about a child’s ability to adapt in an external environment, parents when considering childcare facilities should be familiarized with the activities, standard and safety of the daycare facilities presented to them. A good-quality daycare facility of choice does not need to be expensive; it may be a daycare facility in the neighborhood, which offers individualized attention, focused to the child like those larger daycare facilities.

1. You should start training the child on being away from the parents in order to prepare them for a daycare program. This should be done by assigning a known babysitter or family member to look after the child and explain to them that the parents need to stay away for a period of time, in order to work. Upon choosing a child-minder, you should consider the child’s need for a gentle, loving but firm presence. This is because a first impression influences the child’s ability to adjust to a more controlled environment such as a daycare facility. Ask other parents for babysitter recommendations – avoid those who have several bad reports.

2. If the other parents were not able to guide you, refer to a child specialist, the yellow pages or maybe the Social Services Department to obtain the list of daycare providers that are licensed within your area. When you have chosen a daycare provider, make sure you go to the place along with the child to inspect the facilities.

3. Take the child around the daycare to explore the facilities. Most daycare providers are glad to let new or potential enrollees play freely all over the place to experience the new atmosphere. Encourage the child to interact with the staff and play with other children in the daycare.

4. Meet all those who would be interacting with the child regularly. At first, the child may feel homesick. Spend more time and talk to them about how good it is to learn by themselves. Shift your focus on the positive aspects but take into consideration the negative aspects too (day care employees’ background checks, compliance issues, hygiene, safety) to make sure that your son or daughter is in the best day care!

5. You can ask permission from the day care’s authorities if your children can bring along with them their blanket or favorite toy during the first days of their stay there so they will feel more comfortable in the new environment. Most day care centres will agree to this and this can make your child’s adjustments easier, smooth and fun- filled for both the child and the parents.

If you are one those parents who think that looking for a daycare is almost close to impossible in connection to the proper cost then the real thing that you must look into is how to find a daycare that is best suited for the age of your child or children and what are the needs of your child or children.

Au Pair: Personal Daycare
Au pair simply means mother’s help. It is a type of personal daycare that you can enlist to care for your child. Normally, a daycare of this kind will take about thirty five hours per week on a fulltime basis and twenty hours per week on a part time basis. An au pair daycare will obviously set you back some dollars. This will cost you around one-hundred sixty dollars to three-hundred and fifty dollars and will cover for the au pair’s food, lodging, a cable line, an additional cellular phone and a room to sleep in. Other tangibles left unmentioned may be thrown in.

These mother’s help will eat, sleep and take care of your child at home. Often times, they work on call even if they simply have to do an errand for themselves. These au pair’s are normally young females from a different country who are new to the United States of America and are just starting to experience living in a different country. Some of them are Americans who have lived all their lives in small towns across the United States of America who have come to big cities in search of greener pasture and a whole new experience. There are some au pair companies that give out information on the people they have in their companies and you can use these companies to look for and hire the right au pair for you and your child or children. You can find the names of these companies on the internet and simply visit their websites and check on their line-up. If you are interested in interviewing someone in their line-up, then you will have to shell a few dollars to get the chance to interview that person. Now if by any
chance you see someone based from another country and would like to take a closer look at that au pair, then you will have to do this legally through the means of the Au Pair agency. The agency will charge you for a certain fee and they will start to facilitate and produce all the papers that are needed for you to get the Au Pair you are interested in. All these would normally cost you around three-hundred and fifty dollars on a weekly basis which also includes the wage of the Au Pair. Some of the cash involved will have to be paid in whole.

Au Pair versus Nannies
There are a number of families who actually prefer hiring an Au Pair than a nanny because of the simple reason that it costs less. But the truth of the matter is that these two occupations and the people in it are very different. While nannies are seasoned veterans in taking care of children, Au pair’s are relatively young when they start they careers. Some of them can be as young as eighteen.

You definitely have a lot of options when it comes to giving the proper care for your child. Often times, the care for your child involves another person besides yourself. As a parent, you need to make wise decisions in leaving your child in the care of someone else. If only you could take care of your child yourself, but that is not the case as you have to work and earn your keep. Here are your choices.

The Daycare Centre

The typical daycare schedule runs from about seven in the morning until six in the evening on every weekday there is. It does come at a price though, from forty to a little under seventy dollars daily. But this actually is enough to justify what your child can learn in a daycare centre.

Usually, daycare centres admit children from age two and four years old. Daycare centres are a good course for your child to learn how to socialize with other people, especially with children within this age bracket. Those who work in a daycare centre help these children develop their skills regarding socializing with other children by integrating the teaching lessons in the form of child’s play. These workers offer a variety of activities for the children to do all throughout the day with strategically placed break times and sleep time in between these activities. One of the good things about day care centres is that there is a low density of children assigned to one supervisor. And for your peace of mind, some of these daycare centres have live streaming of the goings on to their websites so you and the other parents can check on your child anytime by simply visiting the daycare centre’s website. Some of these establishments accept children ones they have learned how to use the bathroom and can keep these children until they are ready for the big schools. These are all the positives (besides the price). But as in anything in this world, there are also some not so things about putting your child in a daycare.

The Not so Good Side of Putting your Child in a Daycare Centre

Some of these include the less personal attention the child will get as the supervisor will have to focus his or her attention to a few other children. This is something your child can not get from the undivided attention he or she gets from you. Sometimes this causes separation anxiety in a child and this will show when the child refuses to go inside the centre and or refuses you to leave him or her in the centre. Temper tantrums night even follow. But the time will come that your child will actually get used to this and will be okay with it. As an advise, when your child starts throwing tantrums, just reassure him or her that everything will be fine and simply stand firm. Do this and your child will develop the nerve to stay in the daycare. Along with those children who behave well, there are those children who can be mean, who bite, who are simply bad, who yell always and those who display a little violence. The thing is that there might be times that you will have to handle these children who do all these nasty things to your child. But if you find the need to do so, it is better that you be very diplomatic about it and do not show any temper flares in handling the situation. The most important thing is that your child gets his or her due apology from the offender.

Daycare Home
Home daycare services are now sprouting everywhere. They usually operate within the same hours as a daycare centre would, from between seven in the morning until six in the evening. The cost of putting your child in a home daycare runs from a minimum of thirty five dollars to under fifty dollars daily. This amount usually covers for the meals and other materials your child will need and use all throughout the day.

The basic setting of a home daycare is a house of a parent, often a mom who also takes care of her children. One of the differences between a daycare centre and a home daycare is that there are less children in a home daycare setting compared to a daycare centre. Acceptance is not that strict as children who are not yet trained to use the bathroom are often accepted in a home daycare. Those supervisors working in a home daycare are usually very caring and are personally attentive to the needs of the children. The home setting makes the children feel more at ease and cosy as the home will help these children give them the feeling that they are in their house. Home daycare has a kind of a family feel. The activities in a home daycare are not structured compared to that of a daycare centre. The thing is you as a parent must be in the know of what the home daycare activities are lined up for the day. This will help you know what your child is busy with. Hime daycare is better suited for toddlers and babies.

The not so Good Side of a Home Daycare setting
Again, as earlier stated, when there are good things, there are also those things that are on the other side of the spectrum. These are the not so good side of a home daycare setting.

One of these things is the fact that home daycare homes do not have to pass regulation tests and standards by both the health department and education department as well. This obviously means that you will have to do a thorough background check of the place and make sure that it is clean and its sanitation is up to your standards. The thing is, if you are not satisfied with the sanitation of the home, then to give you peace of mind, just simply look for another home daycare. Another thing is that often these home daycare do not have websites therefore will at times leave you wondering what your child is doing and if he or she is safe.
