The bottle must be discarded after 1 hour. After the baby has started to feed, the milk/formula becomes exposed to air and also bacteria from the baby's saliva. The bacteria starts to multiply the longer the milk/formula sits after it has been exposed. Milk/formula should never be offered again after 1 hour it should always be discarded. I do not know how many times you can refrigerate and warm the same bottle. I have always been told by my daughters pediatricians to always discard after feeding because it has been exposed to bacteria at that point. I hope this helps you.

Infant feeding - one warms up a bottle for feeding, the infant only consumes 1 of the 5 ounces offered and refuses bottle. I am holding bottle for approx. 30-45 min and offering again. If refused again, I am discarding.
Is this correct? How many times can a bottle be warmed up? Refrigerated and warmed? ???
Please advise. Thank You~
